So, for a plan that covers 50% of the cost of dentures, you will need to pay the other 50%. You can find out if your insurance will cover a specific treatment by asking our office to submit a pre-determination to your insurance plan provider. A pre-determination outlines what the proposed treatment is and how much it will cost. Though it is an estimate only, it will give you an important idea of what you can expect and how to budget for treatment. 3. Will My Denturist Create a Treatment Plan According to My Coverage? The denture services offered by your denturist will be tailored to your unique needs, not to what your insurance plan will cover. Your denturist can certainly help you understand your coverage and provide you with recommendations based on your coverage, but their main priority is to provide you with the best solution for your dental health. Your insurance plan is, unfortunately, not customized to your needs and may not cover certain treatments. This is why it is important to be aware of all of the details of your plan as you start looking into dentures.
